Why people don't believe in God
by pressman indo you want to know why i think people don't believe in god?
well i believe people don't want to believe in god because they are scared.
they know that if they finally do gorge the confidence to believe in him, he might discipline them for their skepticism.

Crazy stupid bible, found another problem concerning Jesus death story, and its funny too
by Crazyguy inmatthew 27:50-54new international version (niv).
50 and when jesus had cried out again in a loud voice, he gave up his spirit.. 51 at that moment the curtain of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.
the earth shook, the rocks split 52 and the tombs broke open.

Princess Bride is much better written than the Bible.

A new low in public shaming (and groveling)
by Captain Schmideo2 ina local elderette at my former hall (the same type person who posts selfies while out in "service") posted this public admonishment.
the responses are so pathetic.
these are all adults, but they still act like scared children:.

Ah, the good ole KH clean-up day. I remember times when there would be so many dubs show up, bringing breakfast, donuts, coffee, and snacks. Turnout was usually good if it was scheduled to start in the morning, so it was a way to get out of serve-us guilt-free. There were lots of kids running and playing. It was funny how some stuff kinda got cleaned up, repaired, and painted, but overall, the end of the day often found most of the area dirtier than when we started. And some of dad's tools were usually missing. -

First Post and Using the memorial to wake up family members

Welcome!
It's hard to predict what, if anything, will cause someone to finally awaken to TTATT. Dubs like my parents are of the mentality, "where else would we go?" They see many of the flaws in the bOrg, but they are already so invested that they can't just leave.
To use a very Watchtoweresque illustration, WT is like a house on fire. While we're ready to head outside into the unknown and leave behind all our WT investments of time, energy, and money, others are still sitting inside that burning house. They reason, "I can't leave here until there is a newer and better home for me to move into. I've invested so much time, money, and energy in WT that I can't just leave it all. Sure, lots of the original structure has burned to the ground, but the GB just installed wifi and a video projector. Why don't you come back inside and join us for tonight's "pass the wine and crackers" party?"

"Millions Will Attend WILL YOU?"
Thousands Will Partake (perhaps tens of thousands will partake) WILL YOU?
Billions Won't Attend... and we will find more interesting things to do on a Friday night.

I was thinking about going to the Memorial, but then I checked my "to do" list:
- I've got chips that need to be eaten.
- There's Netflix, so many shows that I need to watch.
- I've got beer in the fridge. They're not going to drink themselves.
I just have too much to do! I don't have the time and energy to go to the Deny Jesus Party this year... or any year in the future for that matter.

but after 15 years I think I need to put my family's future first and I doubt anyone else would ever pay what they were willing to for it.
Here's Br. Lett (you can recognize him by his eyebrows and pinky ring) making his final offer:

steve2: "And now its about...why Jesus came? "
Okay, that made me laugh! Am I that "dirty-minded"?
WT was very careful to word it "Why did Jesus come to Earth?" [italics mine]
